This coat hook expands from 10" to 85" wide and from 33 1/2" to 16" in length. The more you expand the hook the more useful the hooks become with more space between each hook. The product worked perfectly. Having limited kitchen storage space and lots of collector coffee mugs I can hang my mugs on a wall where they can be displayed and easily reached when I have friends over.
