This is a nice CD storage system. The only problem is that on each shelf you have a CD on ecah side that is behind the side rails that provide support and a decorative look.

No written assembly instructions - drawings only - and no instruction on how to attach the last 2 sides! (Someone "guessed" how to do it for me.) But looks nice!

Comments about Venture Horizon Multi Media Tower - 464 CD Storage Capacity:

I purchased two of these units for our living room to store our vast DVD collection which is constantly growing. I've come close to filling both of them. A few things.

Pros:

Lots of storage/Minimal Space Usage: (It really is difficult finding a shelving system that holds a good amount of DVD's and doesn't look bad or take up too much room.

Appearance: The Shelving system really does look nice once put together and can blend in well with various types of furniture. (We selected walnut wish we chose black)

Inexpensive: Compared to other storage systems, the price was decent.

Cons:
The adjustable levels to use these Storage Shelves for DVD's is a bit off. When assembling and adjusting you have to really tweak how you want the shelves and it can become cumbersome... too tight for the DVD's.

Quality of Construction/Functionality: The quality is something to be improved, thick cardboard backing and shelf pins are a bit on the poor side of quality. Shelves will bow with full DVD load so using it fully for DVD's gets tight. I adjusted ours so that our top shelf only stores small items as it gets to tight with every shelf functioning for DVD's.

Additionally, the front side molding is only stained on the front side and just tacks on with glue and wood pegs. Results in a full DVD shelf having movie titles blocked on the far left and right side.

Overall: For a budget storage system that will look sharper than most other shelving systems and for mass storage of DVD's this deal is hard to beat. I recommend it with the understanding that you are getting what you pay for... it is not top end quality... it is what it is and does its purpose.

Love this! It matches so well with our existing stereo and speakers. We have plenty of room to add additional CDs as we purchase them.
