Comments about Venture Horizon Top Load Media Cabinet:

I wanted to put all my CD's, DVD's and whats left of the kids VCR movies in one place that was closed off. This cabinet has style, does not take up much room and holds an amazing amount of stuff.
I was worried when I read the reviews that said it was complicated to put together, but figured I would try it because it was exactly what I had been looking every where for.
If you have any experience with putting furniture together this cabinet will not be a problem for you. If you don't; it could be overwhelming if you don't go slowly and exactly in order with the directions which are fairly easy to understand. My 11 year old daughter did parts of it by herself. It does take several hours to put together (4 1/2 to 6) so allow yourself some time.
It is a very steady piece of furniture that we are very glad we purchased.

Be Prepared to spend hours puting this together, shelfs for the doors are flimsy.instructions are not very helful, and all the hardware is mixed in one,or two bags so your sifting trying to find the right piece.

Lots of Space

Comments about Venture Horizon Top Load Media Cabinet:

This was one of my best purchases. It has a lot of room. I used the top of the cabinet to hold items I do not want my kids to get into. I do not even need to lock it since on top I put my TV. I also glued every piece together for better hold. I did not use the glue included, but I could see how it could easily run out. The side parts to hold in disks on the door seem to fall out. I am not sure if it is because of my kids pulling on it too fast. I do not seem to have a problem, but I also take my time. This is well worth the investment. Make sure you are not wanting to move it though, because it can become very heavy with all the media in it.

Top load media cabinet

Comments about Venture Horizon Top Load Media Cabinet:

It was shipped in good condition. The instructions were detailed and clear, except for the screws because, while they were different, they were very similar and hard to distinguish. The assembley took about six hours by one person. It feels study and is attractive. The only fault clearly not due to my amatuer workmanship, is that the top does not sit squarely, although the problem is not noticeable, except to the assembler. It seems well worth the price and labor.

Great Storage for all media

Comments about Venture Horizon Top Load Media Cabinet:

Just received this and put it together that same day. It took about 6 hours to put together, but I took lots of breaks. This is a very heavy unit and it was a lot taller than I thought it would be, it is over 3 feet tall. It has loads of storage and seems to be very useful. Not too sure I like the top load though, because I was planning on putting a lamp on top and now I can't because it opens from the top, but I guess that means less clutter also. I think this is a really nice piece and others are really interested in getting this same piece for their houses. Not enough glue was included in this set and I used the wrong glue for the wrong pieces, but it wasn't a problem. I recommend getting some extra crazy glue to finish up this piece.
