Comments about Stacks and Stacks Cable Shelf Brackets:

Love the cable shelf supports. My only negative comment is that the flat washer used behind the main bracket isn't super attractive -- it's just a basic fender washer, and detracts slightly from the look. A washer designed for appearance would be better.

I had some big and heavy glass shelves and did not want to use traditional brackets- these look very light and attractive and do the job admirably

Comments about Stacks and Stacks Cable Shelf Brackets:

Beware there is a distance chart, you need differing minimum space above the shelf because the cable is not able to be shortened or lengthened. Only buy if you have 15 inches clear above the bottom of the shelf.

Comments about Stacks and Stacks Cable Shelf Brackets:

I got this product to put a glass shelf across the long mirror in my sons' bathroom. It is a wonderful idea and has made a huge difference in their bathroom. The hard part (of course there always is a hard part!) was that the cables were not nearly long enough for my purpose! Due to the design of the bathroom, I needed to hang the shelf from above the mirror - almost 4 feet. The cables only allow for about an 18 inch drop. I had to cut the cables and replace them with cable from the hardware store, which also meant I wasn't able to use the hangars that came with the kit. BUT my primary reason for buying the kit was to get the actual U-brackets for the glass shelf - project complete! I like the idea of the brackets, but would have liked it even more if they were offered in varying lengths!
