We bought this to use above the sofa in the family room, and wanted the flexibility and ease it offers to change the display items. My husband is a whiz at putting things on the wall safely and he didn't have any issues with this. I found this originally in a catalog I get regularly, and thought I'd shop around online, and found it less expensive at Stacks and Stacks, so I bought it here! I am so glad I did - it looks great and there was not a knick or scratch on any of the pieces. Very easy to assemble and it feels sturdy. I'll be back!

It is a nice product; however, the horizontal shelves are not secured to the vertical shelves, making the entire unit a little unstable. Once mounted to the wall, items placed on it are displayed well. I would purchase it again.

This is a beautiful shelf! I wanted something different for our family room and this shelf is perfect. It's a great size and takes up a nice amount of space on the wall. The openings let you display a nice variety of items, from knickknacks to pictures. I was able to assemble and hang it by myself without any problems. I've gotten so many compliments on it. Highly recommend!

I just love the shelf now that it is finally up. I am not a handy man in any way, so I did find it difficult to install. I wonder if they could include a piece of paper that you could put up to the wall that would show you where to put the screwes to make it easier for those of us who are not the handiest.
The only thing I had to finagle was the horizontal shelves. They just slide into the vertical ones. I put some glue in there to make them more sturdy. Now I just LOVE it.

When I opened the box the VOC's were overwhelming. I had to move it to the garage so as not to be overcome by the fumes. The instructions were adequate but not as good as they could have been. They were written as if the writer hadn't actually assembled the unit. In order for this unit to be safely installed, I had to install screws from the back where the pieces intersect so that the shelves could not be removed once installed. Finally, I would have returned the unit, but I enjoy fixing things and had some extra time.
I would not recommend it - especially for the price.

Tricky to install if you prefer to not drill holes. I used long strips of adhesive velcro and attached them to the (3x) vertical planks. No holes, and velcro is hidden nicely. I recommend using a leveler or laser sights.

Product looks great although a little flimsy once hung... Perhaps due to the fact that my wall is not completely straight. A little difficult to hang but not a big deal. I think the biggest issue is that I feel the item's price should be cut in half.

I looked for several months for a shelf for my family room that was not "square" to off=set a metal wall hanging of a tree branch. This piece was absolutely perfect. They counter balance each other perfectly and the colors are complementary. I couldn't have asked for a better style or shape if I had had it made for the room.

I love the design of this. However,I was sooo disappointed in the terrible quality of the stain and finishing of these shelves. I bought the mahogany finish. It's blotchy, uneven, and flaking off!!!! So cheap!! These are certainly NOT worth [$]!! If you are getting the black or white painted look, then you might be ok. Still not worth[$]

Very durable, solid wood, floating shelves. Looks great on the wall. I was actually surprised how solid and durable it was. The only drawback was that it was somewhat challenging to hang, but any handy person would be fine.

We set these shelves like bookends on either side of a window. They hold all shapes and sizes of knick knacks. They do not come with hardware to hang in drywall. With 3 different keyhole hanging places, it is impossible to hang in studs.

We bought this unit to fill a large blank wall in a main hallway of our home. It is perfect for displaying decorative items and framed photos. The shelves are plenty wide enough to hold 4x6 frames, but the unit is narrow enough that it doesn't get in the way of people walking by. The construction is sturdy and well made. Ours is white, and it is very nice, quality finish. It is easy to assemble, and to hang. I recommend this shelving unit 100%.

This is an attractive wall unit, though it may be a bit difficult to install for first timers. Please note: only one of the horizontal shelves is 6 inches wide (the bottom shelf). The others are only 4 inches wide. A bit pricey for what it is (7 pieces of wood and three screws). There [...] no product flaws. Bottom line - it looks very good on the wall.

I have a laser level which projects a line on the wall, this was really helpful in order to know exactly where the screws (in the wall) should go. The shelf itself slides in place, no tools required.

The shelf is beautiful. The picture was an excellent representation - what I saw is what I got! For the most part it's easy to put together, but putting it up on the wall takes 2 people and wasn't quite as easy as expected.

After assembling the display shelving, we tied the pieces together where they joined. This helped keep it stable while holding it to measure for mounting and while mounting. Once this was completed we removed the ties without any problem.
