This item was just shipped in its retail packaging without and protective materials surrounding it. There were flimsy 1/8-1/4 inch styro strips in the packaging, but not nearly sufficient enough. As a result the corners of the shelves arrived chipped and edges dented. NEEDS BETTER PACKAGING

This shelf is a really great size and I really like that it is bracketless. I had a tough time installing the screws that go in from the bottom though and ultimately left one off.
