I read all the great reviews about this paper towel holder so I bought one. It's absolutely worthless. Only superman or the governor of California can bend it to fit the roll tightly and it still fits the roll so loosely that you can not pull one sheet off at a time without using both hands. It is so difficult to put a new roll of paper towels on because it is so stiff and flexes so little it's like trying to put on a small surgical glove on a medium size hand. I was undecided to purchase this one or another brand. I am going to buy the other brand now. I hope it's not totally worthless too. What a waste having to spend over $50.00 to get a decent paper towel holder.

I love the paper towel holder. It's a very good quality brushed stainless steel. It fits very nicely under the cabinet. The paper towel is easy to remove without additional towels coming off the roll. It holds the paper towels very securely. Initially, I thought this holder might be too expensive, but I'm glad I spent the extra money. It was well worth it.

We like the sturdy construction of this item as opposed to the cheaper plastic models which tend to break, but you have to force the paper towell rolls to fit on the holder and then the paper towel rolls do not turn properly. You have to use two hands to try to turn the paper towels in order to be able to tear off a sheet or two of the paper towels. It should turn freely and easily, particularly for the cost, which was quite higher than the cheaper plastic holders.

All the towel holders I have ever had would either break or spring loose. This one you can't break & I love it. One solid non breakable holder. Highly recommend.

This is well made, strong, and beautifully finished, with no sharp edges. It's pretty heavy duty, not at all flimsy. The only drawback is that when mounted vertically, the back of the unit doesn't lie completely flat against the shelf above, and the curve is slightly noticeable.

ScotTowels used to have a sturdy plastic towel holder that did the job well and could be purchased about anywhere. No more. What's in your supermarket or drug store--if anything--is a flimsy piece of @#@@. Having run out of epoxy and patience with one of them, I went looking and found this excellent product (at this excellent store).The style of the holder is a direct copy of the ScotTowel holder, right down to the mounting hole spacing of 6 inches. Actually, it is more like 5 7/8 inches, but it installs fine. My first went right onto the bathroom wall after a redo, where it looks great. Make sure you mount it well, as it is STRONG. As one of the other reviewers hinted, when you put in a roll of paper towels, one end of the cardboard inner cylinder gets bent over by the holder, which does not flex quite as much as the plastic ones do. Just roll the towel half a revolution and straighten the bend with your finger and you are good to go. If it is still a little tight, bend the holder just a bit.I'm going to order two more and replace the other moribund holders around here. It is nice for a change to have a beautiful, quality product that will last probably longer than I will.

Very solid, clean piece. It was exactly what I was looking for in my kitchen. Paper towels roll with ease, once properly fitted. It does take a little work to get the paper towels in, BUT with practice can be done efficiently, and is well worth the minimal hassle to have a paper towel holder that is neither an eyesore, nor does it consume counterspace.

the paper tower holder is well made. paper rolls easily and firm. the metal handles does not give room to intall paper though. it takes a little effort. otherwise it is a excellent product. hope my comment will be helpful.

Replaced old paper towel holder that was plastic, as you pulled the paper towel the whole role would come flying off the holder. I found this product wich matches our appliances and is one soldid piece of Stainless steel (outstanding). A-1 rating for this product, you can make it as tight or as loose as you want by pushing or pulling the sides together. I highly recommend. Tony
