Only paper towel holder that I've ever found that you can use with one hand. I bought this model about 10 years ago. When it broke, I wouldn't have anything else, so I ordered another. (Thank goodness for Google and internet shopping!!)

I can't tell you how many times I've cursed as I tried to tear off a paper towel and pulled several sheets off the roll. This product cures that problem. You pull, it locks up allowing one sheet to tear then it retracts leaving the next sheet hanging ready to be pulled.

I purchased this product for the ease and convenience of dispensing paper towels, and the one handed approach is excellent. Never before has it been so easy to dispense "one at a time" paper towel sheets with one hand pull. Unfortunately, it has broken already, after less than 90 days, but I just called and ordered another one. Wish is was made a little better, hope this one does not break!

Originally got one of these from the container store back in 1995/96. Since then I have given two of these away and suddenly they seemed to go off the market. Thanks to [@], I found this source for these and am happy to have one in my kitchen. The spring loaded feature is a useful function, not replicated by most paper towel holders.

Since finding this product I've often wondered how I ever did without it. After years of use, the internal spring broke and my family complained about returning to old-fashioned paper towel holders. At the time we were unable to find another one, and we were all disappointed. Now to our thrill this product has returned to stores. This is the best paper towel holder we've ever used.
