Incorporated in this kitchen cart is a 12" x 12" solid granite inset, making it the ideal material for any kind of food preparation. Granite will not scratch, discolor with age and is resistant to heat. Slice, dice, carve, cut and roll out pastry dough with confidence that you won't harm the kitchen cart. Also included is a storage compartment for food scraps or other refuse. A 13-gallon size wastebasket can fit inside (not included). The three cubby drawers will give you space to store your knives, cooking utensils and silverware. The casters are hidden behind the real hardwood skirt while making it smooth and easy to move this cart around. This small kitchen cart is finished in white with a natural color top while the granite is speckled green in color and highly polished. did not like the wood glue part of it which are the drawers.(mainly) hubby fixed it and it took him hours since he is not quite proficient DIY-er and neither am i..this piece is also a bit smaller for a regular counter height...
also the company took a whole month to send it out...though they were good enough to keep me updated about it...

Mid to high end product. Another reviewer mentioned that the product didn't have enough glue with it, which ended up being true but because I was aware of this I made sure I had some extra glue around. Product is a healthy challenge to put together. Not too easy but not difficult either. I enjoyed putting it together because it was a fun project. Final product is mid to high quality; would look great in most kitchens but probably not a mansion. It did take a couple of tries before I found the largest trash can that would fit into the bin (try Rubbermaid). [...]

Kitchen island looks very good in terms of quality. Rolls easily and is very sturdy. Instructions were easy to follow and assembly was fun (for me) and a little bit challenging. Another person warned that you will need more glue than is provided and they were correct. Luckily I had read that review and had some wood glue on hand.

The only negative is that I'm having trouble finding a 13-gallon trash can that fits in the kitchen island. This isn't a criticism of the product; just a warning that whatever you have probably isn't going to fit.

Assembly instructions are good. The product, when it arrived, was as described; however, I would not order again as it takes too bloody long to arrive!

had to assemble everything, which was expected. Watch out for breaking through the laminate with the little wooded peices since it is made of particle board. The Real Wood is natural, not stained like it almost looks in the picture. Granite looks great, pantry in the back is awesome. Still have to get a garbage can to go inside since my current one did not fit.
