I needed a black drainboard to match my black dish rack. Until I located this product, I couldn't find any black drainboards that had the draining end narrowed and that allowed placement of the rack with the short sides at the left and right.

Comments about Stacks and Stacks Dish Drainer - Plastic Drainboard:

They do not sell this design in the stores anymore where the water drains on the narrow side of the board. The wide side does not fit on my counter well, so this is perfect for my kitchen. It is not as heavy duty as they use to make them but it works well.

Comments about Stacks and Stacks Dish Drainer - Plastic Drainboard:

This is a useful item. I don't know why manufacturers seem to have stopped making, and stores to have stopped selling, dish drainers with the drain at the narrow end. Dish drainers with the drainer at the wide end will not work in my kitchen, so I was very glad to find this one. It's perfectly fine, of good quality, and should last as long and work as well as any other dish drainer.

I use this for draining dishes after washing them. There is nice, deep drainage slots that keep the water away from the dishes. It is very attractive and durable. I am very satisfied! After Rubbermaid discontinued this item, it took me several years before I found this one and I was quite pleased.

This works great with a large dish rack and helps drain away water really fabulously. Plus, it matches the platinum rack sold here. The side-drain is just right for us - allowing for best possible use of sometimes limited counter space.

Lightweight drain mat. Made in China. Made of plastic, has some flexibility, not totally stiff. Does the job just fine,it works. Not thick like original Rubbermaid. Good value. You get what you pay for. I would rather have the end drain Rubbermaid, but that style of Rubbermaid mat has been discontinued. Satisfied with purchase. Excellent customer service[...]

Comments about Stacks and Stacks Dish Drainer - Plastic Drainboard:

I have looked EVERYWHERE trying to find a large drain board like this that has the drain on the short end instead of on the side. Rubbermaid had them forever and now quit making them and the new style won't fit my counter. This one is perfect and I like the silver color too ! Looking at the comments on Rubbermaid's website, I see they have a lot of other unhappy customers missing the old style too !

Comments about Stacks and Stacks Dish Drainer - Plastic Drainboard:

Bought this as drains on short side and these drainers hard to find. Advirtised as HEAVY DUty - found to be VERY flimsy which makes it difficult to lift/tilt up to drain with dishes in the dish rack. Too bad - very disappointed!

Comments about Stacks and Stacks Dish Drainer - Plastic Drainboard:

This is the only place I found a drainboard that sits horizontally on the kitchen counter and drains on the small side. I shopped around and was pleased to find this product and the very reasonable price tag. The only thing I would improve is the durability. It is not solid and sturdy; consequently, I got a second one after my first cracked and was leaking onto my counter. It did last over a year, though, and the price tag, [...], and the convenience that this size provides for my kitchen counter make it worth the lack of durability.

Comments about Stacks and Stacks Dish Drainer - Plastic Drainboard:

This is a hard design to find on the shelf in stores now. It used to be common but not anymore. The only improvement would be to use a more rubbery material that is not a stiff plastic like the present product.

Comments about Stacks and Stacks Dish Drainer - Plastic Drainboard:

Most oversized drainers are wider than they are long. I'd just about given up hope of finding what I thought was a more practical piece (longer than it is wide) when I found it at your website. For that very reason I will always check your site first for future storage, etc needs!

By Bonnie Opdyke from Undisclosed on 3/4/2007

Comments about Stacks and Stacks Dish Drainer - Plastic Drainboard:

I am not happy with my dish drainer because I expected it to be made of flexable, soft plastic/rubber, not hard, ridgid plastic. I would have only rated it a one, but since I could not buy one locally that drained on the side this one does and I use it everyday, it gets an extra star.

By Ekaterina from Undisclosed on 2/22/2006

Comments about Stacks and Stacks Dish Drainer - Plastic Drainboard:

Works OK. It is supposed to have a slope so that the extra water runs towards the sink and eventually poures into the sink. The slope is not too high so the water dripping from dishes mostly stays in the tray anyway. Otherwise fine.
