Our previous strainer disappeared about a year ago and oddly, we were unable to find a replacement. Once I found it online, the timing was perfect to get it for my husband's bday. He roared laughing when he opened it.

Comments about Stacks and Stacks Corner Sink Strainer:

I bought this for my single son to make clean-up easier for him. He says it is much too large for his sink and he dropped it once and it dented. I remember these from when I was yound and they worked great, but he was really disappointed with this.

I have had plastic receptacles for many years, they would stain and break. I love this metal "garbage" holder. I will buy it again, but this one should last almost forever

Pros:

Cons:
Pricey but worth it
Best Uses:

Comments about Stacks and Stacks Corner Sink Strainer:

I use this product to strain olives, mushrooms, and canned goods. Also for cutting up veg. and fruits leaving the peeling all in container to put in trash. The fact that the strainer is stainless steel makes it very easy to keep clean.

I have been looking for a corner sink strainer for years...finally decided they just didn't make them anymore. Then thought to look on the net. I bought 2, one for my mother and one for myself.

Sink strainer is great
By Mother RockVerified Purchaser from Chicago on 5/17/2008
Pros:

Best Uses:

Comments about Stacks and Stacks Corner Sink Strainer:

Hardware stores no longer seem to carry the corner sink drainer that holds apple peels, celery tops, etc. until you can walk them to the garbage/trash can. If you don't have your receptacle for same right under the sink, this is a great substitute. And it does not stain, as plastic does.

Stainless steel corner sink strainer
By GypsyVerified Purchaser from Jamaica, NY on 1/18/2008
Pros:
Attractive Design, Durable, Sturdy and roomy
Best Uses:
Sink
Describe Yourself:
Bargain Hunter, Practical
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comments about Stacks and Stacks Corner Sink Strainer:

Good for catching temporary small garbage. It is strong and roomy, but the little nobs at the bottom are too short so that when I dump water from a large bowl or a pot that I am washing, the water flows up into the strainer and wets whatever garbage is in it.

Comments about Stacks and Stacks Corner Sink Strainer:

In the sink it holds peelings, etc. temporarily out of the way of dish washing. For a smaller sink, it takes less space than the steel one.

When it arrived it was ...
By Madeline from Undisclosed on 6/8/2006

Comments about Stacks and Stacks Corner Sink Strainer:

When it arrived it was "dented" and it still is but not so bad that I had to return the item. So I guess the weakness is that it is able to be dented. All in all, we really like the product.
