Protect your sink's finish from nicks and scratches caused by pots and pans with the "Pebble" sink mat! This sink mat is made from thick, durable plastic that creates a barrier between dishes and the bottom of your kitchen sink. The interesting pebble design combines varying shades of graphite, to create the textured look of pebbles. To customize the sink mat, so it fits around the drain perfectly, simply cut away the unnecessary pebbles. This attractive mat is a 1/4" thick, and measures 10 3/4" x 12 1/4".

Comments about Stacks and Stacks Sink Mat - Pebble Style:

I found that it is very well made but it will stain. I used alot of different cleaning solutions and the stains just will not come out.
Too bad because it fits very well in the sink and it has a nice thickness to it.

Comments about Stacks and Stacks Sink Mat - Pebble Style:

The Good: Can be custom fit since you can punch out the "pebbles" where you need to. It works pretty well without punching any out too. It does keep the stainless steel sink from getting scratched, even with the spaces between the pebbles, though they can catch food bits.
The Bad: be careful with anything that might even remotely stain--even really watered down tomato sauce will stain, and can't be removed, even with bleach (see pic). The graphite and amber (the Circo mats also come in amber) may not show it as much. Also, since it's not silicon, it can melt if you accidentally put a hot pot on it (the melting point of PVC is 80 deg f.)
The Ugly: Since it's PVC, most recycling companies won't take it. The most toxic plasticizers are no longer used in PVC in the US and EU, but these probably aren't made here.

Overall cute and works well enough, but if I'd realized it was PVC beforehand, I don't think I'd have bought it. The Circo mats are made of the same stuff.
