I purchased these mats, and they do look nice...unless you stain them with a tomato based sauce (think pasta sauce). The mat is now stained, and I am unable to remove the stain. They are only a few weeks old.

I recently remodeled my kitchen and put in a cast iron sink. I was nervous about the possiblity of chiping it so I purchased some cheap little protectors and I hated them. When I found these I thought they were cute and decided to give them a try. I love them. They are stylish; they provide great protection; and they were priced very reasonably. My sister even liked them and believe me that's saying alot.

I ordered two sink mats to protect the new porcelin sink we installed in our kitchen remodel. I was very happy with this product. It was easy to cut to fit our sink and the cost was a big factor since it would have cost a whole lot more to get custom sink mats. I would definately recommend these. I have had several positive comments on them.

So, who moves their sink mat each time they put some food into the sink? I sure don't and wasted a LOT of money on these lovely sink mats. They stain VERY easily, and don't come clean! Don't waste your money!

Standard sink mats are too small for my Corian sink...this is the best thing I could find that fits. Easy to cut if needed, easy to clean.

Works good. You have to be careful for tomatoe products that could stain. Bleach takes it out though.

At first,I used the product as a drip catcher under my wooden dish rack. However, the "stones" were so decorative. I decided to try it somewhere else which turned out to be as an accent piece for my glass coffee table. It looks great and fits my living room decor quite well. Once I get my apt all set up, I may send for more!

This product is far less expensive than stainless sink grids, and does a good job of keeping scratches from pots and pans off the bottom of your stainless sink. No matter where your sink holes are located, you can simply cut out the pebbles to best fit your application, so it is universal application without looking like it.
One drawback is that it stains easily, so if you pour out liquids onto the mat, they tend to discolor the mats. They would better if they were a thicker material and less porous, however, for the money, we are happy with them for now.
