Deep ribs allow air to flow under fine china and crystal - clears out moisture and stale air. Patented shelf liner is durable - about 5 times thicker than ordinary liner. Ribs provide extra cushioning to protect dishes. Won't tear. Heavy pots, pans and canned goods that would gouge and rip ordinary shelf liner slide easily over the unique ribbed surface.
