it's sturdy, easier than i thought to add the wheels, and so much stronger than the older one i had at home. I wish it had been a little wider, but the overall strength of the cart was what i wanted the most---very satisfied with it.

I'm a value shopper, looking first for quality. This fills the bill. I 'down-sized' from owning a van! Nice range of sizes from which to choose. I may get a second, smaller one for 'little' jobs. I found the illustration & instructions for assembly quite adequate & appreciated the 'count' for the small parts. You do need to pay attention to the sequence of assembly tho, because once you secure the cotter pins it would be difficult, but not impossible, to correct mistakes. A couple of extra cotter pins would go a long ways towards decreasing any anxiety of 'getting it wrong' the first time.
It could use sturdier, thicker padding to make the sguare handlebar on this model more comfortable & give a surer grip. I secured pipe insulation around it. I found insertion of the cotter pins a bit tricky & had difficulty making a neat, close twist to secure them without leaving protruding ends. I question the durability of the friction caps. Despite the apparent sturdiness of the 'square tube' design & adequacy of the guage of the metal, as well as apparently adequate packing, one side bar was bent on arrival - the one from handle to front wheel. With some effort I was able to straighten it with a hammer & block of wood. 'Wish List' design suggestion: if it could be done without compromising the design, a built-in, fold-down seat would be great. And to everyone who mentions difficulty of making turns due to stationary wheel system: tip it up on the back wheels & swivel it.

I bought this shopping cart for my disabled brother I take grocery shopping once a month. We are hoping this cart will hold up since we fill it all the way to the top. It is rated for 250 lbs. but I don't think it will handle that amount consistently. The wheels seem like they may eventually give out. Time will tell. Otherwise, it fits our needs perfectly.

Wow! This product is fantastic. You can use it to carry all kinds of loads. There was a community yard sale and I placed all of my items in my cart and was able to make one trip and some items were very heavy! It goes easy over rough terrains and is very sturdy. It folds up nicely and can be stored in a closet or a corner. Everyone wants to take it from me, but I tell them to get their own!

This cart is the best. I use it for my groceries, for laundry and anything I can fit into it that I cannot easily carry. It is durable and easy to handle. I had no problems assemblying it. Because of how well it is made it has some weight to it, but since I don't have to carry heavy items now the weight does not matter.

I shop for a lot of people. This is the first cart I have had that is up to the task. It can carry so much!! I put three cases of water in it and it moved as though there were none there. It is so strong and sturdy. I wish I had had this years ago.

We purchased this cart for my MIL who moved into a retirement center and would be going on group shopping trips as well as carting laundry to the center's laundry facility. It's considerably larger than we expected, so if you plan to make this purchase, check measurements carefully. MIL has been very pleased with the cart's performance. We also purchased the liner to keep small items contained.

We use the cart to bring our groceries/shopping bags from the parking garage to our apartment. It is much bigger than I thought it to be, which is good b/c we were looking for the biggest one we could find. Holds quite a bit of stuff. The only real con is that the front wheels do not swivel, so going around corners is difficult. You can pop it up so it's on the rear wheels, and then turning is easy. .but if you have full hands and a full cart-it sucks. Plus the front wheels are a bit wobbley. Works fine for what we needed it for. The only people I would not recommend it to are those who want a cart to go over gravel or other rough terrain.

i live in a 4 story apt blg. thankful i have elevators. i live on 3rd floor. the problem was getting everything from the parking lot to my door of apt. grocery bags got to be too much and i thought the heavy duty cart would hold enough that i wouldn't have to make 2 or 3 trips back to parking lot. once i filled the cart the wheels were wobbling around as if they were going to either buckle or just fall off. it's a little flimsey and hard to manuver. i exspected stronger wheel setup. it may not last as long as i hope. i'm a senior citizen with poor knees and can't carry too much. i like the cart, just wish it was stronger materials

I can now transport groceries into the house in ONE trip, what a time and back saver! We just moved into a muli-story home and I have been able to transport things between floors that would have required a helper or multiple trips. When I'm not using it, I just fold it and put it in the laundry room. It is heavy duty and has stood up to daily use. The only problem I have had with the cart is that when my 2 year old grandson sees me using it, he has to have a ride or five.

In 18 years on living in my apartment I use a cart to go in and out every day. This is my 7th or 8th cart and so far it is the best ever. I use this to bring several bags of groceries in from the car. Can handle heavy loads, like detergents and cartons of drinks. I had other carts that broke under the heavy loads. This one handles the weight, but is difficult to steer. I end up tilting it back like a hand truck and pushing it on the back two wheels. I do not know if it will endure like that, but it will not steer on all 4 wheels.

We grocery shop a week at a time, so I would drive 5 blocks just to put all those groceries in my trunk. No more. Now I walk, which is oh-so-much-more Seattle. This cart is wonderful -- it easily holds a week's worth of groceries for 2, including soda cartons. It attaches to the end of the shopping cart; when I'm done the clerk loads everything & off I go. Get the waterproof liner that also covers the bags -- it's worth it in rainy cities like mine.

At 20 lbs weight this is a heavy product in itself to get in and out of your car trunk after the grocery store. Elderly will find hard to lug around. Also, one rear wheel started to wobble after first load carried. Took 4 months to get replacement wheel from manufacturer. Flimsy axle and wheel design, unusual for this heavy device.

This is a great cart, very sturdy. If I was designing it, I would add a collapsible shelf to separate grocery bags. You can fit four grocery bags, but make sure light stuff is on top.

I use a power wheelchair. And I have never been able to use those 'regular' grocery carts at the grocery store. As a result, was always forced to use those lap baskets that only hold a few things. You know the baskets. Plus it was very hard to get the groceries in those carts because they are so high. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this new cart because I can fill it from above keeping myself in my wheelchair. And you can really fill this baby up. And somehow you don't feel the weight on those big tires. Oh, and when you get all those groceries home, wait until you see how easy they will be to get in the house with the same cart. I absolutely love it.

I also use it to get all my laundry back to my laundry room all at one time. It really saves me trips back and forth.

What can I say? I LOVE mine.

PS. Do yourself a favor and get the liner, it's a nice compliment to the cart. And you will be glad you did later, I guarantee.

This is my second cart. I bought it to replace one that was stolen. The new stile plastic wheels broke the first week.I was able to replace them with the old style wheels, but it cost almost as much as the cart. The wheels give off a terrible odor. It has disipated some but it is still strong. The wheels do not pivot but mobility is good forwards and backwards. The cart easily collapses for storage. I use it often and have had no negative incident.

This is a great grocery cart especially if you live in an apartment or condo and have to walk several feet between the car and the building. I especially like that I can push the cart like a shopping cart in the grocery store. BUT, in the next design, you must install front wheels that swivel or pivot like on a stroller. Since the front wheels don't turn, it is hard to manuever when full of groceries. Also, since I need to put my foot on the base to turn corners like operating a hand truck, there needs to be a space for your foot in the back when I have boots on.

Otherwise, it is much better than my old cart that was too small and too flimsy.

We purchased the super shopping cart, not for shopping, but for transporting beach towels, coolers, folding chairs, and umbrellas from our beach cottage to the shore, a distance of two blocks. We were able to load everything we needed for a day at the beach, and the cart was easy to push, even through the sand. The cart folds easily for packing into our car when we travel from our home to the beach cottage. So versatile! Now we are looking forward to using the cart when we tailgate at football games in the fall.

This cart was designed for us. We live in a condo with underground parking located a fair distance from the elevators. We shop for groceries once a week and consequently have a lot of stuff with a lot of weight to tote. So after trying several wimpy, light weights we decided we needed a big, tank like cart - and found this baby [...] - and does it ever do the job! Wow! Heavy construction with big wheels and a tall, padded push handle. I'm 6'4" and I don't have to bend over to wheel home the goods.

I like it but I can tell it's going to break. I shop at Costco and buy in bulk as a lot of us do to save money. That is what attracted me to the 250LB load rating that this cart received (from someone). On my second trip back from Costco - the rubber part of the wheel fell right off. Just like most products available at a reasonable price - it has America's standard built-in obsolescence designed to keep us all coming back for more.

This is my second Easy Wheels cart. Used the first one for 8 1/2 years! Actually, it is still fine except for the wheels rusting (thanks to our Florida hurricanes in 2004!). The new cart has rubber tires so that will not happen again. This is a "must have" cart for condo living. I use it everyday to transport items from my basement garage car to my third floor condo. I have given this cart to dear friends that used theirs for ten years and they just recently replaced it with the new Super Cart when they saw mine!

As an older person with back and leg problems, I find this cart great for bringing purchases into my terrace apartment. Can't lift too much, and I can unload my car into this cart, wheel it through the door and unload it easily. A wonderful addition for carrying laundry to the next building, too! While using it on steps would be difficult and probably damage the cart, it's excellent for one-level loads, particularly for the handicapped!

After helping a college kid grocery shop in a downtown area, I realized we had to haul all of it six blocks to a high-rise dorm. All five family members were dragging by the time we got there. This cart replaces at least three of us, yet it doesn't take up as much room in a closet as three of us would. It is a great gift! I even told the receiver that when he no longer needs it, I'd love to get it back (but I don't think that he'll ever give it up.)

I bought this heavy duty cart to use during my kids swim meets. I can fit 4 chairs, shade canopy, cooler and swim gear for 3 in or on this cart. No mattter how far from the meet I need to park it is so easy to wheel all the gear to the pool in one trip! Also useful for other family outings.

The grocery cart works very well. It is stable as it push it down the street and is easy to manuever up and down the curb and over railroad tracks. I still wish I had been able to get the liner for it that was supposed to be availble for this size cart but was not.

I live on the top floor in a 3 story apartment building. I was able to use it twice, before it fell apart on me, during my second use. Maybe stronger, more durable materials should be used for a product like this, so it can last longer.

This is a great product. As other reviewers state, steering can be a problem. If the front wheels had swivels, it would be easier to maneuver. You must "pop a wheelie" to make a good turn while pushing this cart. Cart folds flat and fits in the trunk of the car.

Have had other carts. This is by far the best one. Very easy to push, liners fit nice. The metal plate on the bottom makes for a sturdy cart. Fun colors too.

I bought this for use around the barn. It surely is handy. Assembly was easy. I like is tough wheels and heavy load capacity. I noticed that the paint holds up very well to the tough barn environment. I have to say, "it is well worth the money".

I am mostly pleased with this product. The size is perfect for my grocery shopping and allows me to empty the car without having to make numerous trips up and down the stairs or elevator. It appears to be sufficiently sturdy. The only other feature I would like to see on this model is a modification of the wheels. Steering a full cart is somewhat cumbersome, but could be improved by the use of non-stationary wheels.

This cart is a good buy if you keep in mind two things. First, the cotter pins holding the wheels on are inferior. Mine broke in less than a week. Fortunately, I was able to get stronger ones at the hardware store for a few bucks.Second, even though the cart carries a lot of weight, the wheels and axles will flex, so it is important to handle the cart more delicately by rolling over bumps and curbs very slowly.I also recommend buying the cart liner. Comes in handy when carrying small things or, when it rains.

Wonderful investment for me. I moved into a 3 story flat. No elevator. So when I grocery shop I put the cart in the car and when I get home from shopping I put my groceries in the cart. It beats 2 and 3 trips up and down those stairs!

This is a solid cart. I can only surmise that the previous reviewer who stated that their cart "falled" apart did not bend the two sides of the cotter pins in different directions. It's a nice cart and with about 20 minutes of assembly I went right to market and carried home a case of soda and a large amount of groceries. The only thing that might be a problem is that this cart is wide and the wheels hang outside the width of the cart so that it tends to hang in doorways.

I was really surprised, this is a great cart and a great value for the price. Previous reveiwer said it fell apart... it's obvious to me that they did not spread the pins apart as instructed when they assembled it. It is mostly already assembled, you only need to attach the wheel assemblies and it is extremely easy. The inner capacity of the cart is such that it should easily hold 6 to 10 plastic bags of groceries. Finally, I don't have to fear going to the grocery and having to carry bags with my weak arms and annoying heart problem.

Just put this puppy together. Pretty easy if you follow the instructions. Rather large, but that's what I needed. I don't anticipate any problems with it -- except for finding a place to store it when it's not in my car. It's large.

While the price seems high, this is not your average shopping cart. This is much more durable than most carts you see. I've had mine for over two years so far and my cart gets heavy use -- pounds and pounds of laundry and grocery shopping every week. Well worth every penny.

This cart has all the qualities of a cart. The wheels are very round and they roll with ease. The cart hold things with ease and it folds into a smaller size when you want it to. What more can you ask of a cart?!!!
