I use this product in my kitchen ---- it is wonderful --- it is soundless, keeps odors in, the red tab thing is great, keeps the lid up when needed. I love that you can lift out the bag holder & wash it/deoderize it if necessary.

The only reason I didn't give this product 5 stars is because it doesn't empty itself or take the bag to the curb!!

This trash can is unbelieveable. It fits in my small kitchen perfectly and matches my stainless steel appliances. The foot lever is great, since I have a back problem, and the lid closes without any noise. The price was a little steep (I don't tell my friends what I paid for it!)--but well worth it. This stepcan was expensive but well worth it. I have a very small kitchen and it fits perfectly and looks great with my stainless steel appliances. The lid mechanism is so quiet. And, it arrived well-packaged and undamaged. I would recommend this product to anyone interested in a stainless steel trash can.

Who would spend over a hundred dollars for a trash can? Well, we did and we are very happy. It matches the stainless steel appliances in our newly redecorated kitchen. It holds a large amount of trash, yet is attractive and out of the way. It works very well and the only time I have to touch it is to empty it. Using the bags that came with it, is quite convenient, but not neccessary. Standard tall kitchen bags do a very good job.

2 years ago I bought a round simplehuman trash can hoping that the lid would keep my dog from nosing through the trash. unfortunately, she was able to knock it over and lift the edge of the lid with her nose so she destroyed it within a year. I bought this can a few months ago, and she has yet to figure it out. it's in a corner where she can't knock it over and the lid is set into the top of the can. so far, I'd say it's dog-proof! and it looks great. the absolute silence of the lid hinge is amazing.

This was a gift that was greatly appreciated. After a year it still looks like new and the quiet close mechanism is perfect. You won't mind seeing this wastebasket! The liners with the elastic drawstrings fit perfectly and are easy to install. A great value.
