It is designed to be recess-mounted to the wall. You will appreciate the premium sized hot iron storage compartment, storage shelf, and a rugged 42" ironing board made of ventilated steel. Not only is it convenient to store your iron inside the unit, the location keeps the iron out of children's reach. There's no reason to let your iron cool down since the insulated heat shield allows for immediate shelving. The metal ventilated board is designed for today's advanced steam irons that project bursts of steam to penetrate deep into the fabric. Steam can pass through the fabric, keeping the surface drier and providing an evenly heated ironing surface. All models come standard with a birch door, and all wood doors come unfinished so that they can be painted or stained to match your decor. Pre-assembled and ready to install. Available in both straight ironing board or swivel ironing board (ventilated steel spring activated swivel board) which allows for even more freedom in board usage.
