This convenient foldaway ironing board is ready to pop out anytime you need to iron - then easily hides away in its own sleek wall-mounted cabinet. The Ironing Center requires no opening in the wall, installs in minutes (attaches to one stud), and comes fully assembled and ready for installation. Concealed inside the compact cabinet, the flip-down wooden ironing board is a full 42 inches long and includes a silicone-treated cover and thick cotton pad. Cabinets are available in unfinished birch veneer (flat door) - can be painted to match your decor. The frame is solid wood. Handy in your laundry room, bedroom, bathroom - even the hall. Dimensions: 47 7/8"h x 14 3/8"w x 2 3/8"d. Iron not included.

I have purchased this on behalf of clients a few times. As a decorator, one is constantly trying to simplify households and this product really helps to do that. It is lightweight, easy to install and it really keeps the ironing board out of the way and protected.

Bought unfinished birch cabinet. Now I can choose a stain to match other furniture. Wife loves it. Mounted near her wardrobe, but nothing to trip over or knock over. Daughter saw it during a recent visit and wants one of her own.
Only con is the fact that one has to remove the guts from the cabinet to mount it.

I purchased this item to keep my Mother from having to lug an ironing board out of a closet. It was installed in her bed room out of the way. Now when she wants something ironed it is just a matter of opening the cabinet door and folding down the board. On thing she noticed is that it should air dry before folding it back into the cabinet to prevent a musty smell.
