I iron my sheets so the extra room provided by the extension allows me to get the job done much faster than on a regular board. This board costs a lot more but time is money and I can save 20 minutes to a half hour every time I use it to iron a set of sheets. In time the board will pay for itself in time saved.

I leave it as a large board. Changing covers is a pain. Do like the extension for steam generator.
