I recently moved into a new place, and have no closet space at all to work with. Thus, I had to go in search of alternatives. I looked at stand-alone wardrobe closets, modular closet/storage systems, and stand-alone garment racks. Ultimately, my modest budget, desire for versatility, and need for something that can hold a lot of weight and offer some storage space as well led me to this garment rack. And boy, am I glad it did! I actually purchased two of these. I use one for my kids' clothes, and one for mine and my husband's. Each one is long enough to work for us as a substitute for an actual closet, and they are tall enough that even full-length gowns don't drag *too* much. I love that there is a shelf not only across the bottom, but also above the hanger bar. That extra storage space is definitely handy, and that is a relatively rare feature, it seems. I am very impressed with how much these racks actually hold. I have purchased several garment racks in the past that were supposed to be able to hold a certain weight which in reality fell far short of their advertised specs, so it was with some degree of skepticism that I purchased these. I fully expected that these racks would start to fail once they were half-loaded, but I have been very pleasantly surprised! I have these racks completely packed, with both the top and bottom shelves fully loaded, and still they are holding up beautifully. There is no sign of leaning, sagging or buckling; and equally surprisingly for me, they are still easy to move. Even fully loaded, the casters work smoothly -- and these racks are placed on carpet!For the price, this garment rack cannot be beat. Obviously, this garment rack is great for people like us, who need it to serve daily as a closet; but I would also recommend this rack for others as well. Its overall sturdiness would make it a good choice for anybody looking for a long-term clothing storage solution. And its mobility, even when fully-loaded, would make this a good choice for a small clothing shop, where it could be easily moved around as merchandising needs change. All in all, I am very glad that I did all of the research and comparison shopping that I did, and that I decided to get this rack in the end. [...] we have had no complaints since. We bought this organizer to give my daughter more room for hanging clothes. yes, i admit she is spoiled and her closet is overflowing! I love how it can grow with her. Right now it has all clothes, later it can house backpacks, totes and purses on the swing out rods. It is super supportive and doesn't take up as much space as you think it would from measurements.

We shopped around and Stacks and Stacks had the best rack for the money! I did buy the cover elsewhere, only because I had a coupon. Otherwise, I would have bought the complete set up from Stacks.

My home lacks closet space, so I have been using clothing racks for some storage. Other racks have been flimsy and unreliable. I am so happy with this one: sturdy, practical, yet pretty enough to be seen, not hidden away.

We originally bought another brand that was very flimsy and broke before we could even put it together. This rack is very sturdy and heavy duty. There are no plastic parts... all metal. It doesn't have a cover but we bought the big clear garment bags that hold multiple items and it works great. We are using it for all our heavy winter coats, wedding dress, backpacks full of flight gear, bulky items etc... It holds a LOT!!!! There is a little swing out arm on the side that would be perfect to hang purses or other smaller items on. There is a sturdy shelf on the top and on the bottom with lots of extra storage. We were very pleased and feel like we got our moneys worth out of this clothing rack.

It's not beatiful in a bedroom but is sure adds additional closet space! It works great in my teenage daughter's room and it's sure better than piles of clothes on the floor!

I am quite pleased with this item. I've had it for a couple of months now. It went together fairly easily, with just one determined girl(me) and a rubber hammer. Mine is fully loaded and I tend to slide it around a little in the room I have it in. And there's no hint of collapsing like the item it was replacing. Love the little side "wings" for extra storage, especially the way they condense into the body of the unit. And they too are strudy! I'm so happy that there are manufacturers providing quality products at a reasonable price. Excellent design. I couldn't be happier with mine.

After spending money two different racks that eventually began to fall apart, I finally went ahead and purchased this one from Stacks and Stacks. I should have bought this one in the beginning. I wouldn't have wasted money on two inferior products. I needed a well-made laudry rack because of space issues and this one is perfect.

It is sturdy and space saving. Definitely worth the money.

So far this has been great! Easy to put together, and easy to use. I can put all of the "adult" hanging items on the rod, and the "kid" hanging items lower. Now if I can only get my husband to use it.....

I bought this to give my daughter more "closet" in her bedroom. It's great-gives her much more hanging room with sweaters and jeans folded on top.We put some deep baskets on the lower shelf for shoes, and she hangs belts and purses on the swing out arm. Just PERFECT!!!!

We ended up purchasing 2 of these racks. Originally we purchased a different rack from a local retail store and it proved to be wobbly and unreliable, and we searched the internet for an alternative. These racks are sturdy and have lots of storage and hanging area. We are in the midst of remodeling, and they worked great. We will use them for storage and in our laundry area once remodeling is finished.

My daughter has one of these laundry racks and I loved it. It is wonderful to hang up all of your laundry and then just wheel it from room to room to distribute the clothes. How great is that for a back saver?

This cart is perfect. I purchased a slightly less expensive one from a local store and brought it back because it bent during assembly. It's heavy duty and holds a lot while tucking nicely into the corner of the laundry room. You won't be disappointed

I purchased a cart for not much less than this one at a local discount chain store. I brought it back when it bent while putting it together. This is sturdy and well made - great value for the price and Stacks and Stacks has great customer service!

This is very durable and was a snap to put together. The moveable arms for hanging shirts is really nice. I would highly recommend this if you want to have a nice place to drip dry your clothes and organize your clean laundry.

I am using this organizer in my hallway closet. I have to be able to access the "under the stairs storage area" of my closet, so I removed the original closet bar and wheeled this into its place. I can now easily wheel this organizer out of the closet to access the back storage space. I used to have to remove my coats from the closet bar or attempt to "dive through" the coats. This very sturdy, wheeled organizer has made my life easier. As a bonus, the swing-out hanging bars and shelves add extra storage space!
