These containers are as close to perfect as you can get. They hold hanging files, either letter or legal size. The lid fits well even when the hanging files are in place and you can stack them. I will never again use a heavy file cabinet to store files and these are so inexpensive. I also used for several sorting projects. I just set the file holder on the table and set up suitable categories and I was able to work my way through years of records and I could sort, file and throw out all at one time. I also used one to sort photographs. I looked many places before I found your site and nothing compared to your produce for quality, price and functionality.
