Comments about Stacks and Stacks 3-in-1 Shredder:

I purchased this 3-in-1 manual powered shredder because it was the only one I could find which didnt use electricity and thus is more eco-friendly and more reliable in developing countries where electricity is sometimes a gamble. It looks great, but I was surprised and disappointed when it broke on my first use. I ran just two sheets of thicker paper through the paper slot and the crank had difficulty turning and then halfway snapped. I admit that later, upon reading the instructions I found out they say maximum feed should be two sheets of normal paper, but this seems pretty wimpy to me. I havent tried the CD or credit card shredder slots yet, but how can it be expected to shred those hard plastic objects if it can't even take a couple slightly thicker sheets of paper. If you are only hoping to shred one or two THIN sheets at a time this product will probably be OK, otherwise don't buy it.
