The overall design of the tins is good, but to a serious spice keeper the clear lids expose the spices to harmful light, shortening their shelf life. However, if you go through a lot of spices and don't need a prolonged shelf life, the tins are great.

I love these containers, and am planning to order more. It keeps all spices in a uniform fashion, as well as safe and airtight. The clear lid makes for easy ID. And I love having the spices right there on the side of the fridge for easy access.
