File Ladders are the solution to adding file space to small or cramped homes and offices. This portable, foldable File Ladder is lightweight and can be placed in any location, accommodating 25 letter size (8.5" x 11") folders up to 1" thick (not included). When open, the base extends 15". When not needed, it folds to a slim 2"d to be stored virtually anywhere. The system is made of durable powder coated steel and made in the USA. *PLEASE NOTE - this item is made to order and is not returnable.

I think this is a clever design to be able to keep files visible, standing upright, using a small space. It can be used to display letter paper sized literature standing upright in a hanging file. The metal design could use a mechanism that holds file in place when it is expanded, grip padding on the bottom of the legs, and a way to keep fingers from getting pinched when closing the file.
