My husband is a writer and his old lapdesk fell apart. I gave him this as a Christmas present and he loves it. It has room for papers inside and fits comfortably on his lap with the cushioned bottom. It was very reasonably priced.

I have had this lap desk for about two months and I absolutely love it. There is no assembly, open the box and go. The quality of the product is actually better than I expected. The wood finish is exemplary. It's finished like a good piece of furniture. The top is hinged and the interior is felt lined with plenty of space for a dictionary, paper, pens, etc.. Compared to the standard lap desk you see everywhere, it is far superior. It is also the most comfortable one I've ever owned. And let's face it, you want that comfort if you plan on using it a lot.
My use of it, is mostly with my laptop computer. I like to sit in my recliner or prop up in bed while online. And, combined with my laptop, it's not to heavy to carry when you get up or down. I would highly recommend it for anyone. It would make a great gift. Don't hesitate to purchase this product. It's worth the money.

Very well made - good quality! The perfect size. Everything else I looked at was much smaller. I would definitely recommend this lap desk.
