This desk organizer has two fixed vertical dividers and six removable, 1/2" thick shelves to create up to nine compartments. Reposition or remove the powerful shelves to accommodate large books and binders. Stack multiple paper organizers on the floor or desk to create a wall of storage. Each file organizer weighs only 28 lbs and is constructed from durable 5/8" stain resistant melamine laminated particleboard that is stain resistant and easy to clean. Available in BLACK, MAPLE, WHITE.

I purchased another paper sorter from Staples, for a few dollars less, but the shelves were flimsy cardboard. This piece is perfect for what I needed. It was easy to put together, not too heavy, and durable. It fit the space requirements and was worth paying a few dollars more for exactly what I wanted.

I'm not the most handy person & I hate directions that ONLY have pictures, but I did OK putting these together (1 mistake, but I was able to fix it pretty easily).I got the maple & the pale wood matches well with the rest of my furniture (I've got these in the 'work corner' of my living room). [...] The only thing I would change is making the dividers a tiny bit thicker so I can more easily label what is in each cubby. But it's a small complaint. Overall, it's sturdy & does what it needs to do. Cats regularly climb on it & it holds up fine & no scratches are showing.

This piece arrived flat. I put it together in minutes—directions were easy to follow and simple to execute. The organizer looks nice and although it's not real wood, the design makes it sturdy enough that I have faith it won't warp with time. It has helped immensely in keeping my projects organized in its nine separate compartments, and the top is also useful as more surface area.
