Wonderful for keeping spices organized and keeping countertops un-cluttered. However, it is made of plastic, and there are little plastic nubs on each shelf which slide on tracks. There are two issues I've had:

1) The side of the unit bows out slightly, causing the nubs to slip off of the track & the upper shelf(ves) to fall onto the lower ones. This is solved if you have something to wedge against both sides (as in the picture!), but it would be better if they made the sides a little more rigid/stronger.

2) The nubs sometimes slip off track when you pull the drawer out, and if you don't catch it all the spices go tumbling down. Again, stronger sides, or better tracks/nubs, would prevent this.

That said, I still use it and love the concept & design.

I'm height impaired. I appreciate being able to store items on a higher shelf and access items quickly and efficiently without having to use a step or risk dropping something on my head. The design accommodates different types/heights/shapes of various containers.
It would be nice to include blank labels or provide categories other than "spice stack" e.g. Savories, Extracts, Sweet, Mexican, Asian, Mediterranean, etc.

As others have said, I was sceptical but decided to give this a shot. I'm glad I did.

I use a lot of spices and am constantly digging through all of them. With this unit, I have all of my most used spices at easy reach. If my cabinets were larger, I would have several of these! My only suggestion for the manufacturer would be: "How about an adjustable model to accommodate different sizes?!"

I have had NO problems with tilting, falling, etc. and will often pull a shelf out, grab a spice and leave the drawer out until I replace the bottle. I would suggest placing a cut-to-size piece of "Shelf Grip" on the bottom of the unit (or just lay it on the bottom on the cabinet and set the Spice Stack on top) to hold it in place, should you have a problem with movement.

The spice rack organizer is great..love the drop down shelves..however..if you put it in a cabinet, or hang it under the cabinet like I did..it is not balanced and the whole thing could fall forward. What you need to do is one of two things, first, add a small tab on each side for a small screw so it can be fastened to the cabinet shelf or place something heavier on back side to hold it in place as the weight of the shelves pulls it donw..other than that...great..

I use the container in the pantry at a level I can easily see into each drawer. The labels are then easy to see. I am amazed how many spice containers will fit and how many different sizes will be accomodated. I have now opened my shelf to more room where my spices used to be. This is one item a kitchen should have. I have found no problems with this stacking drawer system for spices.

It's a heavy unit, that organizes random collection of spices you already own. But not all types fit. It's best to hide away about 24 small-mid size spice bottles, but takes up just as much if not more space.

I had my doubts about this item, but there it seemed like a great idea. I have alot of spices, and no regular spice rack makes a dent in the collection. This item is simply brilliant! It is stronger than it feels, and has various sized 'slots' to allow for those random shaped spice containers. Fits perfectly in my cabinet and while it takes up space, it also saves plenty.

Being a vegetarian I have loads of spices and limited shelve space. This product has helped me in organizing my shelve space and with the pull out draws made it easy to find the right spice. I went one step further in labeling the draws so it's now a snap to find the right spice!

I use the product in my spice cabinet. It took all of my spices from my little lazy susan I had in there plus all the larger size bottles I couldn't fit on the susan. It is a tremendous space saver even though it looks bulky. I am only 5'2" and I can even see all the spices on the top rack of the spice rack and my cabinets are hung at regular heights. The only "down" side is I worry about bringing the drawer out and letting it hang. I hold on to it when I am looking for a spice.

This is a nice piece that makes it easier to know what you've got and get to it quickly. My only concern is that the drawer slider are just little plastic nubs that slide along a plastic run. Sure hope those little plastic nubs don't break off!

I had been looking for something to store my spices. I didn't want a carousel, mainly because most of them came preloaded with spices, or the bottles were already labeled. I looked at many websites and when I found this one, I was thrilled. My needs were answered! Now all my spices are in one location in the pantry. They are always returned to the same place. I don't have to search through multiple bottles and cooking and baking products to find what I need. This product was exactly what I was hoping to find. I don't like counter clutter, and my pantry was paying the price. Now my pantry is relatively clutter free and my spices are easy to find.

Took the clutter out of my spice cabinet. Best part is you can see all the names easily. No more shuffling for the right one. I put all the most used spices in my new drop-down spice rach and put the ones I don't use all the time on the second shelf in a nice neat basket. I decided to get rid of my three-tiered wire racks and thought I would try one of these. After ordering one, I kept thinking I should have ordered two, since I use two wire spice racks which take up an entire shelf in my pantry. Well, the one rack arrived, I started filling it and was shocked! This rack held all of the spices in one rack and a good amount of them from the second rack. WOW.

Although these holders take up less space than my wire racks, they hold more spices and the spices are easier to see. While the three-tiered wire racks let me see the volume of spices I had, I still had to sort through them to find any spice not in the bottom row. With these drawers, you open it and see each label clearly. No more lifting each spice up just a bit to read the label. I was also surprised that there are spaces for spices that come in big fat containers. Those are the four spaces at the back of the drawer.

The only item that didn't fit was my oversized tin of cinnamon. The smaller tin of mustard did fit. Unless you only purchase spices in the oversized containers, this spice rack should work for you. It is neat in appearance, it holds a lot, and the pull-out/swing-down drawers allows you to put the spices up a bit higher without losing accessibility.

My mother had a cupboard full of spices. Everytime you reached in, spices fell like dominos. She has a hard time reaching into the cupboard to find the right spice and has to use a footstool to see. I love the product! I use a lot of spices and have tried racks of many different kinds. The only thing I would change would be product advertising. Nowhere did it say the material that was used to produce these. Because of the expense and no mention of materials--I almost didn't order--I would have missed a great product. I put my spice rack drawers in my cabinet, when you pull out a drawer it drops down so that you can see every spice in it.

I liked it so much, that I bought 3 more for gifts!

Everyone that I gave them to really likes the spice rack.

The only complaint that any of us have, it's not quite large enough to accomodate the larger size spice bottles.

However, it's so much better than anything else on the market, you don't have to put your spice into a special container to use this rack!!

I bought one and then another (one for herbs and one for spices!). Wonderful idea for storing and protecting dried herbs and spices. Mine are in the lower kitchen cabinets where they will be cooler. Light and heat are the enemies of spice quality.
I had to transfer some of my bulk purchased spices to regular sized jars to fit, but it was worth the work.
I am very pleased.

My spice cabinet was large, but so cluttered that it was difficult to keep track of what was in it, let alone where to find it. The Spice Stacker changed all that! My large collection of spices now takes up half the space that it used to occupy, and is available at the flip of a shelf. It is not an exaggeration to say that I am delighted every time I cook or bake by the convenience of being able to easily locate the items I need. In addition, the unit is very stable, and it is possible to pull out a shelf and leave it unsupported without causing the unit to tip over. I am planning to give this to everyone on my Christmas list!

I remodeled my kitchen and the cabinets are narrower due to the limited space. This works best when it can be dropped down from the edge of a cabinet. Put a shelf directly above it so if you forget and pull out two shelves, the shelf above it will hold it down. This is the best thing for spices. It's unique and very functional and practical. I saw this advertised in a magazine and knew that it would be great. I received the spice stacker rack very quickly and immediately put it to use in my spice cabinet. Now I know what spices I have because they are so easy to see. No more buying the same spice because I couldn't find the one I had. I started with the wall mount spice racks, then went to the carrousel spice racks. Now I have this product. After using the carrousel type where you put the spices into the containers, this is so much more convenient. The other ones eventually get dirty and are extremely difficult to clean. This way, you keep the spice in the original container and throw the container away when it is done.

This product is very easy to keep clean as well. A damp cloth and you are done.

Lastly and probably most importantly is the fact that the spices are easy to locate and kept tidy in the cupboard. No more searching through a lazy susan to just have one ... or many more....fall out onto the counter, or worse, into the food your are preparing.

It keeps spices neat and tidy and holds most sizes of spice bottles. In that regard it is very versatile. You aren't stuck using only one size bottle.

Not only WOULD I recommend this product to others, I already HAVE.
