Each Monterey bonsai is made of a real juniper tree, meticulously shaped by artists and carefully preserved thereafter using a 100% natural process. They look, smell and feel like live plants, but are no longer growing, giving you the ease of an artificial plant. That means no maintenance - no watering, sunlight needs, no soil. When ordered , a live tree is individually selected, and cut at the nursery. The tree is trimmed, and preserved before being mounted in resin or foam and set in a ceramic pot, complete with polished river stones and moss. Finally, the tree is carefully packed for shipping. These juniper bonsais are each grown naturally and will differ in shape. The Preserved Double Monterey Bonsai is a wonderful way to bring nature into your home without any hassle whatsoever.
