          I use this in my office and it's just the right size for a flat screen LCD. I actually don't use it as a printer stand - I have my LCD monitor on top, and place my laptop on the bottom shelf. The metal design acts as a heat sink for my laptop, and the holes that are throughout serve to give good ventilation as well. Plus, this thing is pretty solid, so I'm sure it could hold a decent size CRT if needed as well.
