This fits perfectly where I put it in the corner of the dining room to hold mostly recipe books. I pictured it being a little bit wider, because the top board sticks out about an inch on each side and they used that measurement. It was easy to put together. Just be careful not to hammer the pegs in too far which I did and the board split a little.
