Bike Box by DBA CrateWorks

The Bike Box is great for students going off to college, and cyclists heading off for a tour.  Its wheel caddy, available separately, aids in esy transportation!

This bike box folds flat when not in use. It is super strong when assembled with over 400 sq.inches of hook and loop fasteners at the corners. Great for tours. Will last for many years.  22 lbs.  The black box is waterproof, the brown one is not.

Comments about Stacks and Stacks Bike Box by DBA CrateWorks:

Bring a box that looks like a bike box on a flight and expect to pay higher fees, depending on airlines up to $90.00. Unless you are a member of a group such as League of American Bicyclists has plans for members that waves the fee on select airlines.Yet another reason to support your local bike advocacy group. Many companies make bike luggage that .... drum roll .... looks like luggage. Baggage handlers se a suitcase, gets checked in as a suitcase, no additional bike fee. If your airline charges for baggage or additional baggage that applies. New or newer cyclists should be aware please don't pack your bike as shown. Your baby (that's the bike) needs to be padded to the maximum extent possible. Every imagianable foam padding you can get. Between handling and stacking other luggage on any box no matter how strong if your bike is not surrounded by foam and padding expect debris or at minimum to retrue or replace wheels on arrival. Another option is investigate renting a bike on your trip. Ask a local bike shop where you are going.
