I use this item for personal documents that are important. Its a nice size safe that appears durable however the insides are kind of small compared to the body.

Shopper: Dose the safe have a alarm bilt into it to sound if the door is opened or is there somthing that can be added to the safe thet I can bout to add on to it my?
Mark S: Not that I am aware of--possibly for the reason that you're supposed to air the safe out monthly. It fills up fast, so you may want to go bigger! Hope this helps......
KENYATA F: No it does not have an alarm sound. However, it does make sounds when entering the numbers for your code so if you enter the wrong code it will beep but thats about it. I dont think anything can be added to make a loud alarming sound. It will take two people to carry it if filled but there is no breaking into it unlike those little fire proof safes that First Aid makes.
Shopper: How much does the 2.14 cubic foot safe weigh?
KENYATA F: Yes Mark I agree the size interior is becoming small as we have stored important documents in it as well.
KENYATA F: Maybe between 60-75 pounds... We had to push it from our kitchen to the room
Mark S: To be honest, I really don't remember.... But I'm thinking about 80 to 100lbs... Little fyi, I am finding that this safe is running out of room because I am a coin collector. However, if you don't intend on placing more than just a few valuables, you should be fine. Good luck!
