Shopper: Is this glider comfortable without the cushions? Is the back high enough to rest your head on and is the gliding motion smooth? I want a chair i can rock myself to sleep in. Does this chair fit the bill?
William B: Believe it or not, I have a totally fouled up spine from osteoporosis. I have 5 fractured vertebrae and 7 bulging discs. I was looking for a hard chair that feels better than padding. I found it in this chair, it helps me to keep it straight. I don't know how that translates to you. But the chair is smooth and well built, with a comfortable head rest. I think a normal person might like some padding or cushions, but I love the way it is. Hope that helps.

Melissa S: We own two of these, I would HIGHLY recommend them. We do not use cushions, there is no need, the chair is comfortable without them. The back is high enough for me to put my head back on (I'm 5'5") and the glide is very smooth.
These are a fantastic buy, I am very happy with them!
