This is Mesa's MSC Series composite burglar and fire safe. It offers a unique design that combines all the security features of a burglar safe and the peace of mind achieved with a fire safe. The standard features include a 2 hour fire rating tested in temperatures up to 1830 degrees. The battery operated electric lock is protected by a drill resistant hard plate and a spring loaded relocking device. The door is constructed with a 1 inch defense barrier of outer and inner plates enclosing burglar and fire resistant material. There is a massive 1.25 inch diameter of solid steel and it has live locking bolts. The cavity construction is designed to lock deep into the body preventing door removal.
