I needed an outdoor clock/thermometer for our deck area and am very happy with this choice. This is a beautiful clock. It is nice to know the time whenever we are busy outside working or playing. I've only had it a little more than a month and it works fine so far. I'm hoping the humidity over the summer doesn't cause the clock mechanism to rust.
