It appears that the outer pieces are fairly sturdy (and I hope they are because I have them stacked) but the slip-together inner shoe pocket walls seem a little flimsy; also, I can only fit one of my size 9 shoes & sandals in each pocket which diminishes the 15-pair capacity.

I bought 4 of these in the dark brown and LOVE them! I stacked and anchored all of them in a small awkward space and created an attractive storage wall. I stored hats gloves and scarves on the top 2 and shoes on the bottom. One shoe each of a man's size 10 1/2 or 11 will fit in one cubby, which great, because finding storage for men's shoes is nearly impossible. They are easy to put together and take up very little room. Highly recommend stacking them up to the ceiling-total life saver for odds and ends that are always getting lost. Planning to buy more when I organize my downstairs area.

Fits great in a small closet. I am a size 8 and just can get the bigger kind of shoes in the slot together. I bought my husband one for his shoes as well. They are sturdier than I thought they would be.

Great shoe storage that takes up minimal space and is easy to assemble. Compartments are spacious and large shoes fit easily. I searched the web and decided to give this a try. So glad I did. It's strong, attractive and I put it together in about 15 minutes. Have 2 of them in the bottom of my closet and now my shoes are organized and essy to find.

Shopper: Are the cubby holes wide enough to store men size sneakers or just regular shoes?

Matt M: Michele, The manufacturer told me that if you stack or "nest" the shoes together they will both fit in the cubby. If they are just placed flat in the space, you will need to place each shoe in a cubby. I hope that helps.

Matt M: Michele, I am checking with the manufacturer to verify the cubby width. This product has not been purchased yet so unfortunately there are no customers to check with.

Shopper: Can this be mounted on a wall?

Lisa M: The back of the shoe cubby is particle board, so you would need to use very strong L-brackets to hang it. It's possible (and you've given me an idea!) but you would need someone knowledgable about how to properly mount to studs, etc.) I hope this helps, Lisa

Shopper: Does each cubbie fit a women's 8'1/2 heel or shoe? Is it worth the money?

Janet W: A 2 1/2 " heel fits. We use them to store ballet slippers, and they are certainly worth the money.

amy p: It will. I wear a 7 and have plenty room. I can fit a pair of flats or sandals in one cubbie together, only one sneaker per cubbie, though. I am telling you, this thing was some of the best money I've spent. I love it. I bought three of them, stacked and attached them to an odd wall I have so it acts/looks like a built-in. I have scarves, hats and belts too and I really like the way the colors look. All those odds and ends things... AWAY! Hope this helped!

Russell M: There's enough depth however the width and height of the cubicles are smaller than they appear on the website. Depending on the heel only one shoe will fit in each cubicle. Forget about sneakers and men's shoes fitting.

Diane K: Maybe you could stack one, but to be secure, it should probably be secured (bolted somehow) to the wall, in which case, you could probably stack more.
