The adjustment ring works great. I prefer a coarser grind while others prefer finer. It also has the benefit of not leaving a dust ring on the table as it sits up side down.

I liked the design of these grinders when I read about them on your website. I appreciated the design having the grinder mechanism at the top rather than at the bottom, because those with grinding mechanisms at the bottom leave a residue on the counter when placed back at rest. The OXO salt and pepper grinders both have a top-placed mechanism, so this is not a problem.
I also like the design with the clear window indicating whether salt or pepper is being ground. The dial mechanism to adjust for coarseness/fineness is excellent. I am very pleased and I can say that this product works as well as it is advertised.

Attractive design that sits upright to stop spills inside the cupboard/on the table. Graduated grind size works great. Knurled rubber-like twist is easy to grasp and use. Best I've ever had.
