The Rockport mail post is a great fit for mailboxes with front and back doors, to avoid walking onto the street to retrieve your mail.  There's also a handy newspaper holder, so you don't have to bend over to retrieve your morning paper, and it hasn't been sitting out getting dirty! This plastic mail post offers you more than just a functional place to pick up your mail; exquisite detailing captures the timeless charm of the East Coast, enhancing the curb appeal of your home!  This unique New England style mailbox post is made from high quality polyethylene with built in UV inhibitors for long lasting protection from the elements.  The plastic post is designed to simply install over a standard 4x4 wood post.  Medium mailbox recommended, minimum 6 1/2 inch width. Best suited for light weight mail boxes weighing less than 8lbs.  Please note:  4x4 wood post, mailbox, and mailbox mounting hardware NOT included.
