Q & A

Questions about this item:
Shopper: Is it possible to secure the doors with a lock?
Pia J: You could, but you would have to add the hardware to do so.
Darsi R: You can certainly attach a lock through the door pulls. The pulls are full circles, about 1 inch in diameter and about 1/4" thick. The type of lock you use will determine how much play there is in the doors. Because the lock would hang from the pulls, the doors will be able to open slightly, but not nearly enough to peek in, put a hand in, or pull anything out. If you're looking to keep the doors completely shut flat, you'd need to install a lock on the doors themselves. Keep in mind the piece that attaches the pull to the door isn't very substantial so I'm not sure how much abuse it could withstand if someone was determined to pull off the lock. It is, however, made to withstand years of using the pull by hand. I would imagine the only way to lock the drawer door would be to install a magnetic lock.
Shopper: What does the front look like when closed?
Matt M: Thank you for your interest in this armoire. It has recently been added to our site and has not yet been purchased. Unfortunately, there are no customers to answer your inquiry at this time. I will check with the manufacturer and see if they have an image of the front.
