This is a great bed, and a great deal. The bed came in three boxes, and I was very impressed with the packing. It was very easy to assemble, took about one hour. It is made of solid wood, no particle board. I am 6'4", 280lbs, and I can tell you this is a solid, sturdy bed. I have a 14" memory foam mattress, any smaller I recommend a foundation.

The bed arrived in perfect condition in three large, but easy to carry, boxes. It was packaged very well, and the instructions for assembly were simple and complete. All hardware packets contained an extra piece;just in case, and I assembled the bed myself in about an hour. This bed is worth the money I spent on it.
