I have used these for a number of years and I am very happy with them (I use the gold and silver cleaning coths). The cloths are a nice soft, felty material that you use to clean/polish your jewelry with. The results are excellent and I haven't seen any problems or damage come from using them.After using the dips which are messy,didnt always clean well, and sometimes you had to use caution when dipping certain things with stones, I decided to try these. I have been very happy...I think they work very well altho you do have to take the time to do it (dipping is a more passive cleaning method) and if I am concerned about a certain stone I just dont polish over that stone.I have cleaned both real and costume pieces with the same great results. One possible downside is that with very ornate jewelry you might not be able to get into tiny crevices with a cloth. Things like that might be better cleaned with a different method.I have found these to be very good, very easy and very cost effective. Each cloth has lasted me quite a long time.
