Shopper: Is there a slit in the top for the hangers to feed through or individual holes?
Katherine E: I store more garments in these bags than the quantity they were intended for. I can fit 6-8 department-store type hangers through the slit/hole.

Shopper: Would you say that this bag allows for easy access on a daily basis, or only useful for long term storage? I ask this since the zipper does not go all the way up to the top of the garments. Thanks
Ernest P: I find it easy enough to remove whatever hanger I want and to return same after wearing
Katherine E: The access is definitely easy. I had similar bags that I used for my business and I found that the side-zip bags are easier to load/unload than one with a front zipper. What I'm concerned with is that the vinyl will pull away and tear at the seams. The other garment bags I had were made of a combination non-woven breathable fabric and vinyl. They only tore/ripped where the vinyl was.
I just received these and haven't really put them through the test yet. I would say if you're storing long term without accessing the bags a lot they will hold up great. They will probably also be fine for gentle daily use.
