Q & A

Questions about this item:
Shopper: Hello-- I need a square table and was hoping to find a pedestal look. I love the pedestal look of this table and the red base. Could I put a 60" x 60" or even 63" x 63" square piece of glass on top of this table? Would it be stable? If I served 8 people (2 on each edge), and they put their elbows on the table, would it tip over? MANY THANKS!! Sincerely, Renee in Washington DC
Matt M: I would imagine it would not have a problem supporting a table top that large, as there would only be an "overhang" of about a foot or a foot and a half - I don't think that would give it enough leverage to flip over, especially because it looks like the base is pretty wide. It would probably be smart to find a way to get it to "stick" to the round glass top, rubber pads might even be enough but something adhesive would probably be a smarter choice. Let me know if you have any other question, I hope that helps.
