Great protection for my dining chairs and bar stools. Protects against all my grand kids messes. If I had to give a con it would be, the vinyl sticks to your bare skin. I purchased some previously from a different company that does not stick at all but they cost more. Bottom line, I would recommend these to a friend.

Unlike the picture, the protectors do not wrap snuggly around seat of chair. As a result they move when attempting to sit in chair.

Very good quality. Heavy duty vinyl that protects my formal dining room chairs that has off white fabric upholstery. I have 6 chairs so I bought 3 sets. They do slide a bit even though I tied them to the backs of the chairs. I only use them for formal dinners so I sure I could think of a way to keep them from sliding if I used them more. I would certainly order them again and recommend friends to buy them!

I installed these by lifting the seats off the frames and tucking the covers underneath. They have the appearance of a professional installation. I expect them to last for several years! The price can't be beat.

Shopper: Are you pleased with the quality of the covers?

Shannon G: Well, the vinyl is very thick and of good quality. However, when tied to the back of the chair, my five year old tore off the ties when she moved around and pulled the vinyl with her.

Valerie C: We have been very pleased with these protectors. They've held up well and saved our chair fabric from being ruined!

Shopper: Do they have ties to tie tham to the chair?

Nahan B: Two on rear.

JANE S: They have two ties for the back, but they're supposed to stick together instead of tying -- but they don't stick well. Neither do the corners in the front stick well.

Sharlene P: Yes, they have ties that tie behind the chair back.

CASSANDRA S: It's made very poorly... the ties are hard to open out and tie. Tie's open easily as soon as you sit.

Shopper: DOES IT HAVE VELCRO TO STICK ON?

Connie D: I do not believe there is velcro. They are shaped to fit a square chair seat and have ties that you tie to the back slats. We use them in a room at our school where there are children. Hope this is some help to you and we like them very much!

Susan F: No, but it isn't necessary. The vinyl is weighty enough that it drapes and stays in place just like it looks in the photo, plus there are ties of the same vinyl on the back corners. I put one of these covers on the rush-seated dining chair that held baby daughter's portable high chair. I was afraid crumbs and spills would ruin the seat. She was less than a year old then. I hoped it would last a few months. She's 4 now, no longer uses the high chair, but still uses the same dining chair almost daily and I haven't had to replace the cover. It cleans easily. I gave the other cover in the pack to her baby cousin because I could see we wouldn't need it. A great buy!

wendi b: No. It has plastic ties. Honestly, it doesn't hang like this in the photo but it does the trick with protection.

lupita g: It does not have Velcro but you can probably add your own to the ties, which are a little awkward to tie because theyre plastic. But once you get them on and tie tight they stay. I originally bought these to protect my chairs from my cat. They are great and are barely noticeable. I think they are worth the purchase. Hope this helps.

Lynn S: the covers I ordered did not have velcro. I took the cushion off the chair and stapled the cover underneath the chair.

Shopper: how do you secure this to the seat? Does the cover mold to any shape of seat, or is it to a particular shape?

Karilon K: You really can't secure the vinyl chair protector to the seat. When I purchased this item, I just assumed it would come in such a way to secure it to the seat. The cover is large enough to fit most chair seats and if you are creative, you can pull the cover tightly all around and then turn the plastic in and secure it with a staple gun. Also, some chair pads are easy enough to pop off the frame, so you can cover the seat with the clear plastic cover, use a staple gun to secure it and then attach it back to the frame. Hope this helps....

Mary H: It's been a year since I purchased the protectors but, I believe they had ties to secure them. I removed the screws from my seat cushions and tucked the over hanging side panels under and then replaced the screws (some of the screws went through the plastic material and this secured it even better. I also used a little clear plastic packing tape under the chair to make sure it wouldn't slip in anyway. I have had no trouble with any of the protectors coming off. They are well fitted. As far as molding to the shape; my chairs are wider in front than back and using the packing tape helped to get the cover to fit better as well. Because I did the tape work under the chair it is not detectable. If you can't detach the cushion this won't work and If you chairs have curved edges, this may not work well.

Constance M: It is exactly as it looks in the photo (with seat cover snuggly fitting the seat) and the spaghetti spill on top. There are 2 sections of vinyl (apron-like) strings that attach to the back of each chair in order firmly hold it in place. We love ours! This is the second time we purchased these covers as we added chairs to our set. In fact, we are thinking of purchasing another set. Connie

Sharon H: I have had the same questions. I'm going to try using a hair dryer to warm the product up and see if I can shape them to my chairs.

Kevin M: Judy k, The protectors have two straps that you simply wrap around the chair leg a few times, the straps stick to themselves so they hold very secure. The vinyl is of good thickness yet very pliable so it will conform to just about any shape. I wouldn't buy them for a round chair though. Kevin

Shopper: When you go to sit on them will the plastic pull up on the the front of the chair? Causing the plastic to be bunchy on the top of seat?

Connie D: I have not seen any bunching on the seat. After awhile they may rip if children climb on them a lot, but they are certainly a worthwhile purchase.

Kevin M: The plastic will not bunch up when you sit on the chair, it's very pliable.
