The Butcher Block Island with Flat Doors and Drop Leaf is a great way to add storage, workspace and simple traditional style to the kitchen. This wood kitchen island is an excellent alternative to more expensive and less versatile fixed kitchen islands. Set on four locking casters, it is easy to move this island around the kitchen, a great feature for meal preparation. The doors, drawer, braces and top of the cart are made from solid birch wood while the side and rear panels are made from a durable, warp-resisting solid wood veneer. The oiled finish on the cart preserves the life of the wood and gives it an attractive traditional appearance. The butcher-block top of this kitchen storage cart is the perfect place to chop vegetables or pare a cut of meat, and a side drop leaf can be folded up to provide additional workspace. Storage features of this island include a four-door lower cabinet and a large pull-out drawer. Within the cabinet is an adjustable shelf, perfect for providing your kitchen with personalized storage. The drawer pulls out smoothly on sturdy metal glides, ensuring a long-lasting quality.
