The vapor-creating system is patented with two heating elements and a pump system that guarantees it will not spit or leak. As an added bonus, the steam generator has an "EcoIntelligent" feature that keeps the steam from being activated until your hand is on the handle, saving water. The soleplate is made from anodized aluminum, allowing it the ability to easily glide over your clothes, preventing any scratches or other damage. An additional inner plate of magnesium adds durability to the iron while having a lightweight quality.
