Liberty Bird Feeder by Griffith Creek

Attract birds to feed in your garden with the Liberty Bird Feeder which is made from repurposed wood!  This hand made bird feeder embodies the American past and the spirit of rebirth.

The Liberty Bird Feeder by Griffith Creek is a commissioned piece, designed specifically for President Gerald R. Ford in honor of his daughter, Susan. Handcrafted from century old barn timbers, this wooden bird feeder is a unique, one of a kind piece.  Each will vary slightly, because they are original creations. The maker, John Guertin, has transformed the red barn of days gone by into a work of art and a nature refuge.  You will find Heart & Eagle Company items in nature preserves and public gardens across the country. This reclaimed wood bird house attracts wrens, chickadees, nuthatches, titmouses, woodpeckers, and prothonotary warblers.  Copper fittings guard against squirrels/sparrows.  The roof easily removes for cleaning and includes drainage and ventilation holes.  Sealed in bird-safe marine varnish.  Antique laundry pin perch placed low on the bird box to discourage predators.  1.25" Entryway.  Made in the USA!
