I will use the shelves in a back hall to hold wire-mesh bins od fresh vegetables. I live in an older house and these shelves perfectly match the shelf from the original design. THese shelves are a great find.

I had some trouble with the installation instructions.
For the 18" corner shelf, Instruction #3 says that each of the installation blocks should be between 6" to 8" from the corner, however at that distance the 12" blocks are too far away from the corner for the shelf to fit. Either I received the wrong blocks or the instructions read incorrectly. The blocks should be 4" to 6" from the corner for the 18" shelf.

Other than now having too many holes in my wall (all concealed by the shelves at least) I am very pleased with the end result.

Shopper: Can you tell me the measurement from the front of the shelf to the back? It looks like perhaps 22" if the flat surfaces are 18" or is the radius more than appears in the picture?

Lawrence K: No. It's 18" from the back to the front. I just measured it. 18" at the radius and 18" at the side. Hope that helps.

Peggy H: Hi George, I just received this set of shelves ( I bought 4 ), but haven't put them up yet. They are very sturdy, and the finish is close to flawless. Each shelf is one quarter of a circle. The two straight radial sides are 18 inches, as is the measurement to the widest point of the arc. The width across the arc from corner to corner is 25.5 inches. I hope this helps. Peggy

Shopper: How much weight will this shelf hold? I have a flat screen monitor that I'd like to put on this above my corner desk, which would free up more space on the desk and allow me to raise the monitor up to the perfect height for me. (I'd prefer a wood shelf over the ones made of melamine for aesthetic reasons).

Robert D: Shelf is very sturdy due to the way it is mounted to the wall -- two wooden cleats are screwed into the wall and then the shelf slides over the cleats. I would think the shelf would hold 10 lbs without a problem (as long as you mount the cleats to the studs in the wall)-- the screws that come with the shelf are long enough to do this... This shelf is fine for a new (slimmer) computer monitor-- but probably not for an older (heavier) monitor. We have two in my daughters room with books on them and they work fine. Good luck

Christine R: These shelves correspond to an original shelf I have in my house. These shelves are the closet to the original. In addition, the price is good.
