Even though some companies push them, you should not store good wood table leaves in felt-lined, plastic coated storage bags. These are the only bags that I could find that were felt only. They are huge...at least for my leaf. But the velcro close and the carrying handle are both assets. They should protect the leaf from scratches, but you still have to be careful about how they are stored to avoid bumps and gouges to your wood.
