It's perfect for our small apartment. When we don't have guest, I use it as my desk. When we have a couple guests or more guests coming for dinner. This table can be pulled out into the right size. It's very easy to set up. Well designed. Price is good too.

This table perfectly fits my needs. Will be great for family dinners when the kids come home while not taking up space when its just my husband and I. We had a delay in delivery due to flooding at the manufacturer. The customer service was superb, keeping me updated and actually answering emails--quickly.

Our daughter and her husband have a small living room dining room combination. They do not need a dining table all the time and the versatility of the table is perfect for them. It can be used with no leaves, one leaf, or both. When not in use it is an attractive display space. They love it.!

                    Suggestion

                    Q & A

                    Questions about this item:
Shopper: Are the leaves stored within the table? Or do they have to be stored separately? How well did it work? Does it glide easily when coverting. Are the chairs sturdy? How much weight do they support?
Terri L: The leaves have to be stored separately. It works great. Glides easily with 2 people: one holding the table while the other pulls. Same when converting back to the console. I didn't purchase chairs so I can't answer questions about them. I love my tabe.
Paul S: No, the leaves are not stored underneath the table. I keep them under my bed lying flat, which is the best way to prevent warping. The table works quite well - just use two people to open and close it. It does slide quite easily. I only order the table, so I cannot provide any opinion as to the chairs. If the table quality is any indication, I would think the chairs should be quite sturdy.
Lorre L: The table glides easily when converting. The leaves are store separately. Everything arrived very well packed. The "some assembly required" sounded daunting but the only assembly required was adding the legs - I recommend have some help turning the table upright that first time once legs are installed. I love the table and it fits my studio apt perfectly, giving me flexibilty to use as a console, game, or dining table. Because I only purchased the chairs, I cannot answer you question regarding the chairs.
Kara S: The leaves are not contained in the table. They need to be stored separately. I think it works pretty good, we had a little trouble pulling it apart to get the last leaf in initially. I don't know the actual weight limit on the chairs. I didn't really look for that when they came. They are really sturdy and look really nice. They don't really look like folding chairs. The table also is sturdy and looks really nice.
AM S: We have the mission style and really love it! It's beautiful, simple and sturdy. Unfortunately, you do have to store the leaves elsewhere. The main table folds up about the size of a buffet, but the top leaf is attached and folds out to about a large card table size. It's a little stiff to glide out, but works fine and seems to be loosening with use. The chairs are sturdy and pretty comfortable for as 'square' as they are. We have a family member that is 6'6" and about 280 and he feels quite comfortable on them. No wiggle, no shifting and they sit squarely on the floor. We line stack them against a wall. They do take some getting used to in trying to figure out how to unfold them - not a typical unfold. We have really enjoyed it - especially for the convenience and the price, and have no regrets in buying it.
judith p: The leaves store separately. However, they must be taken out when you are not using this table. I keep the table at a small size (with only one leaf, the very smallest one in) for everyday use with just my husband and I. I thought the table glided apart pretty easily and I was able to put the leaves in and take them out by myself. The chairs are very stable and I like that they can be folded into storage. At the table, it is not very noticeable that they have padded seats. When pushed in the chairs look very nice. And everyone who sits in them says how comfortable the padded seat is.
Donna W: The leaves are stored within the table. It is very sturdy and is great for everyday use as a desk and occasional use as a large table.
Vickie T: The leaf must be stored separately. The table works great! We initially bought it for use in a small space, but are now using it as a dining room table. Even without the leaf, it is a really good size table. I cannot respond regarding your question on the chairs as we did not purchase them.
Aviva G: I LOVE this table. The leaves are stored inside the table. I bought this table for a porch that we enclosed and needed more space, except when we needed the table for dinner. The chairs are well made and the set did not disappoint. It's great for small spaces and expands to seat 8. Only negative is that you need two people to open and close it, but if you need it opened you would have two people present anyway.
evelyn s: Hi the leaves are stored separately and the chairs are very sturdy. I had to apply vaseline to the railing so that the table would open easier. Everyone who comes to my house is amazed how such a little table can become so big. I have given the information to many.
Dianna H: I have this table and chairs and love them! The leaves do not store in the table, you will have to store separately. We have only put the leaves in once but we had no problem at all getting them in or out. The chairs are very sturdy...
Sherrill H: Leaves are stored separately. We have not yet converted the table, so can not answer the question on how well it glides. The chairs seem very sturdy. I'm not exactly a light weight and have had no problem. Sorry I can not be more help on the gliding, but all in all we think it's a very nice set and we are happy with the purchase.
JOAN M: The leaves are stored outside the table when not in use. It glides easily and works wonderfully. I did not order chairs...
Monica R: The 2 extra leaves are stored separately (I store under my bed). I use in the console table mode (smallest) as a desk. I open to square size for 4 person dining (all within the base unit). For larger groups I add the 2 separate leaves. I think it glides pretty much the same as my previous normal dining room table when I added the leaves. The chairs are comfortable. I do not know the maximum weight they would hold. I have had fairly large men use them with no problem. I no longer have a formal dining area so I have been very happy with this table and chairs.
Judith N: The leaves are stored separately (I keep them under the bed). The table was somewhat difficult to open and close at first, but it got easier after the first few times. The table is good and sturdy. I didn't buy the chairs.
Peggy B: You don't need leaves for the console or game table position. There are two additional leaves for the two longer positions that need to be stored separately. The table works quite well; my husband can put the leaves in himself with no assistance. The chairs are very sturdy; I was very impressed with their quality. The table is attractive and fits our needs perfectly. One of the best purchases we ever made. This was helped also by the amazing customer support of this company.
Tony N: Unfortunately they do not store within the table. Two leafs, about 18" x 40", have to be stored elsewhere (in my closet). Fully extended is when the table is the weakest. The manual even tells you to not leave it in that configuration for extended periods. I wouldn't put something super heavy on it (like a tube Television) even though there is a center support. I have opened it by myself but ideally 2 people should pull it apart/push it together.. It's wood against wood so it's not like it glides super smooth. Overall I think the price is a bargain for something that collapses down so small. People are amazed by it's compact console configuration. It's ideal for a smaller apartment that needs a table many purposes. The chairs are very sturdy.
Shopper: Do you have any tables like this with three leaves?
Walt R: Hi Donna The table we bought has 2 removable leaves, there is a section that slides under the end of the table to make it only 2 feet wide (console table) The table will seat 8
Mary L: This has been one of the best purchases that I have ever made. I use it just about every night ( it's set up as a console table) when my husband and I want to eat dinner and watch TV. Then when I have our bridge group in I use it as a bridge table. On occasion when I need more seating for company, I add the extensions for another dining room table. Great purchase and the quality is excellent. I would highly recommend it.
                    Donna W: Yes.
Shopper: Is there support in the middle section when table is fully extended?
Allen C: Yes there is a drop down leg for the center. We have been very happy with this table. The quality for the price is very good and the service from stacks and stacks was very good too. We would recommend this table to anyone.
Walt R: Yes-and it works very well.
Shopper: Love the table but having a hard time deciding if it will match my kitchen. My cabinets are red oak. My husband doesn't think either color this table comes in will match. Any thoughts?
Vickie T: We really like this table. We have used it as a console and game table and currently use it in our dining room. The color is a warm medium-dark brown with a slight cherry color. When we bought the table, it came in only one color as I recall. I don't know what red oak looks like, but matching colors doesn't seem to any longer be as popular as it once was. Our kitchen is done in a medium oak, with the table in the dining area next to the kitchen, and it looks just fine. Good luck on your choice. The table is very nice quality, particularly for the money.
Tony N: It has a tiny bit of reddish tone to it but probably wouldn't be an exact match. You can buy a chair and see if it does. Worse case you return the chair which would cost lest to ship. Hard to match different wood stains. It doesn't match my bamboo cabinets but I bought it for functionality and price first.. aesthetics second. Who says it has to match? They offer it in 2 colors I have the lighter of the 2. Good luck.
nancy f: I have cherry cabinets - the table is a little more in the brown tones than the cherry, but they work together. I guess it depends on how dark your cabinets are, but I would put the table in the dark brown category and it is very nice!
Anna S: Hi. I ordered the fruit wood extendable. I am not sure what shade of red oak you have, as I know the color varies, however, the table does have a redish hue to it. It's hard to say without seeing your cabinets, but unless they are really red, it should blend well enough. It took me a year to find a console that would fit 8 or more. This was a great purchase!!
Tawna G: I got this table and it looks like a red/mission style color I find it really compliments any wood I have had mine all over my house I have yellow oak, red oak, walnut, mission and pine it really looks good
Shopper: What is weight limit on folding chair?
                    Awating answer from previou buyer(s)

Larry W: Apartment living, but have adult children who visit.
Emily P: Needed a large table that could easily shrink down to be put of of the way. This was exactly what we were looking for.
Harry H: Functionality and Good Reviews
                    Gloria B: Its versatility.
Terri L: Limited space. Don't need dining table often. Like furniture that does double duty.
Lorre L: I have a small apt and this was the perfect choice for me. Most of the time, it is in the console mode. It is easy to convert to the game table. Then, for more company, I just open it up, add the 2 leaves and I have seating for 8, I love it, so glad I purchased.
AM S: We love the "mission" style and are able to fold it away when we don't need the size.
AM S: We love the simplicity of "mission" styling. Plus, they fold out of the way.
JOAN M: It provides Holiday entertaining with ease.
Tony N: The size of this table is ideal for small apartments. It has a classy look to it. I only wished the table was able to store the leafs somehow.
